My husband, Chuck, has been a continual source of inspiration as well as side-splitting humor. That is what I love most about him.

The other night we had just turned out the lights after staying up too late watching TV so I rolled over onto my side facing away from him. I lifted my arm to grab and pull some of the covers over me and inadvertently smacked him in the eye with my elbow. I didn’t even feel the impact, but was surprised instead by the Bart Simpson “ohp” from behind me.

“What happened?” I asked.
“You just smacked me in the eye with your elbow!” He exclaimed.
“What on earth was your face doing down by my butt!?” I was a little irritated. I mean, really, I thought his head was on his own pillow.
“I guess looking for love in all the wrong places!” He quipped back without missing a beat.

Now, you see why I love him?
